CIV is the breeding company founded by the nurseries of Mazzoni, Salvi and Tagliani:

CIV is well known for the development of several new varieties of strawberries (Clery, Joly, Elsinore, Capri, Ischia, Linosa, …) apples (Rubens, Modi, …) and pears (Carmen eo.)

CIV focuses on improving production characteristics and sustainability by increasing the fruit’s natural resistance and so CIV varieties, tested throughout vthe world, provide a guarantee of commercial success. CIV is also a certified propagation center in the area of Emilia-Romagna.
