Tray plants The nurseries produce every year millions of tray plants of the varieties Gariguette, Clery, Joly, Dely and Elsanta. Trays ( 9 hole trays, 243 cc) are produced of all commercial varieties. In the flower induction period from September till November solar radiation is 30 % higher compared to North Europe. Hence required number of GDH, growing degree hours, are easily obtained in a natural way. Important is that the high number of growing degree hours is combined with plenty of sunshine, necessary for a good flower quality.
