Tips

Every year, the nurseries produce several millions of tips for use in the nurseries but also for distribution to growers and nurseries all over Europe.

Due to the very nice spring weather in Italy the nurseries can provide tips very early: deliveries in Belgium and Holland start already at the end of June to peak early July.

Tips are grown full field with drip irrigated motherplants. As sunshine in Italy in the spring is very intense, the tips are smaller than in Northern Europe but the vigour after regrowth is very strong.

Tips are delivered in boxes in plastic bags or in bins in jute bags. All transport is of course with refrigerated trucks.
